Rules
- This event follows the Korea Pickleball Association competition rules; matters not covered are decided by the tournament committee. - Players choose their own division, but the committee may adjust a player's division. - Entries that violate division eligibility may be forfeited even after matches are played. - Divisions with fewer than 6 teams may be merged or cancelled after committee review. - Group stage, main-draw knockout, and the 3rd-place match: one game to 11, no-ad (end point 11, no deuce), change ends at 6 points. - Semifinals and finals: one game to 15, no-ad, change ends at 8 points. - Matches use side-out scoring (only the serving team scores) by default; the committee may switch to rally scoring as the schedule requires. The scoring may differ from group to group, but within a group it is the same for every match. - Except for finals, semifinals, and the 3rd-place match, a match reaching the 20-minute limit ends at the referee's signal (2 extra minutes) even before 11 points. If the score is level at that moment, play continues until one team leads. - The top two teams in each group advance to the knockout draw. - Group standings are decided by (1) wins, (2) head-to-head result between the tied teams, (3) point differential (points for minus points against), and (4) the combined dates of birth of the two players (the older team ranks higher). If three or more teams are tied in a cycle that head-to-head cannot resolve, ranking continues from point differential. - Divisions with fewer than 7 teams may be run as a full round robin (game to 11, no-ad, change ends at 6) with no knockout. - Time-outs: one per team per game, in both 11-point and 15-point games. - Medical time-out: a player may take one 15-minute medical time-out for an accidental injury during a match; if play cannot resume after 15 minutes, the team is defaulted. - Officiating: group-stage and round-robin matches are self-officiated; after two or more foot-fault or line-call disputes, a team may request a tournament desk official to observe. Knockout matches have dedicated referees. - Former racket-sport athletes (tennis, badminton, table tennis, etc. — middle school or above) may not enter the 2.5 and 3.0 divisions. - No age limit except the Open Gender 50+ division. - In Para Hybrid and Open Gender divisions, mixed-gender matchups are not submitted to DUPR. - Each player may enter only one division per time slot. - [Player conduct and other notices] - Players must be at the venue at least 30 minutes before their match. - Regardless of the online schedule, the committee may start a match early when the previous match finishes early. - A team that does not respond within 5 minutes of being called for a match may be defaulted. - Any physical or verbal violence at the venue will be referred to the authorities regardless of position, and the player is permanently banned from this event. - A team that refuses to play over a call dispute or any other reason and does not resume within 5 minutes is deemed to have forfeited the remaining match. - Players may not request a referee change during a match. Complaints about officiating are reviewed by the organizing committee after the event and the outcome is notified. - Matters not written in these rules are decided by the tournament committee. - Minor injuries during play are handled with first aid. - Players accept full responsibility for accidents; by entering, players agree that the organizers bear no civil or criminal liability. - Public-health measures follow government guidance. - In case of rain the schedule may be postponed (rain dates: November 14–15); postponement is not grounds for a refund. - By entering, players consent to the collection of personal data and to the use and broadcast of photos and video taken at the event.
