Terms of Service
1. Purpose
These terms govern the membership, tournament registration and community services provided by Pickleball Korea Inc. (the "Company") on this website.
2. Membership
Membership is created when a user agrees to these terms and completes sign-up. Using another person's information or providing false information may restrict your use of the service. Users under 14 may not register.
3. Account
You are responsible for safeguarding your ID and password. Notify the Company immediately if you become aware of unauthorized use.
4. Tournament entry & fees
Entries follow the procedure on the site; fees are paid by bank transfer as announced. Entries are confirmed after the organizer verifies payment. When a division is full, or when other teams are already on its waitlist, new entries are placed on the waitlist (up to its limit), and open spots are offered by the organizer, in principle in waitlist order; final decisions on tournament operations rest with the organizer. Refunds follow the refund policy stated in each tournament's announcement.
5. Doubles partners
A representative applicant designates a partner; the partner is notified of the designation and may request a correction if it is wrong.
6. Content & prohibited conduct
You retain the rights to, and are responsible for, anything you post or register (photos included) — this applies to non-member registrants as well. Infringing others' rights, spam or advertising, unlawful content, and interfering with the service are prohibited and may result in content removal or account restriction. Member-to-member messages may be used only to arrange play — not for spam or repeated messages, harassment or abuse, or advertising, sales or other commercial solicitation; the Company may hide such messages or stop the member from sending messages.
7. Registration services
Coach, club, court and vendor listings may be registered without a membership; mate listings require one. Listings are reviewed before publication, and the Company may reject or take down a listing that is inaccurate or breaches Article 6. Registrants edit or delete their listing with the 6-digit edit code they set; five consecutive wrong codes lock editing for 24 hours, and the Company can lift the lock after verifying identity. Edits to a published listing take effect after review. Phone, email and social handles appear only where the registrant marked them public. The Company is not a party to any lesson, meet-up or transaction between a registrant and a user and does not vouch for the accuracy of listings, a coach's credentials, or the quality and safety of lessons; absent wilful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company is not liable for them. Registrants warrant they hold the rights to the photos they upload. Deleting a listing erases it, photos included, without delay.
8. Service changes
The Company may change or suspend all or part of the service for operational or technical reasons, giving prior notice of material changes.
9. Liability
The Company is not liable for interruptions caused by force majeure and, absent willful misconduct or gross negligence, is not liable for disputes between members or with third parties.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Effective date
These terms take effect on October 26, 2026 (previous version effective September 5, 2026). This revision names vendor listings in Article 7 on registration services — vendor listings have already been handled the same way as coach and club listings (edit code, review, rejection) — states in Article 4 that new entries go to the waitlist while other teams are already waiting, and adds to Article 6 the rules for member-to-member messages. The previous revision (September 5, 2026) added Article 7 and extended Article 6 to listings and their photos.
